How to Join Lambert House Programs

We require a New Youth Orientation before participating in-person or online. Our programs are open to LGBTQ+ & allied youth ages 10-22 (we require parent/guardian consent for youth 12 and younger). You can now complete the Orientation in-person or online!

Online Orientation Steps:

  1. Contact us at OnlineGroups@LambertHouse.org with questions and to sign up!

  2. We will send you a link to our Online Intake Form. This includes collecting demographic information, so younger youth may need help with this. The form also covers our House Rules and asks the youth to agree to them, so this should be done by, or in collaboration with, the youth joining our programs. They are responsible for knowing and following our rules.

    1. If you, or the youth you are reaching out on behalf of, is 10, 11, or 12 years old, then we will send you a link for our Parent/Guardian Consent Form as well, which must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

  3. Next, staff will schedule a 10-15 minute video meeting with you (the youth) to welcome you to Lambert House, answer any questions you may have, and verify your age/identity.

    1. Parents are welcome to attend these video meetings to ask questions as well.

In-Person Orientation Steps:

  1. Come to Lambert House during Drop-In hours (Monday through Friday, 4-9:30pm). No appointment necessary.

  2. We will welcome you to Lambert House, and explain what Lambert House is.

  3. Next, we’ll ask you to complete our Intake Form on paper.

  4. Then, we’ll ask you to read our House Rules, which are posted on the wall.

  5. Finally, we’ll go over our programs with you, and give you a tour of the building. This can include introducing you to other youth at Lambert House if you would like.

    1. Parents are welcome to attend Orientation with their child if dropping off; we require all adults (23 and older) to sign a confidentiality policy prior to going past the Reception area.

Weekly and daily LGBTQ+ groups and programs. Check our calendar for special events, too!

  • In-Person Drop-In at Lambert House in Capitol Hill, Seattle.

    • Monday through Friday 4-9:30pm

  • Dinner with Divas, an LGBTQ+ youth family-style community dinner.

    • Available on drop-in days, 6-7pm.

  • Dungeons & Dragons

    • 4th Monday each month 5-7pm, online or in-person, see schedule

  • LGBTQ+ Youth Movie Night

    • Fridays 7-9pm at the Lambert House Drop-In Center in Seattle

  • Snoqualmie LGBTQ+ Youth Group

    • Meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 4:30pm in North Bend

  • Kenmore LGBTQ+ Youth Group

    • Meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 4:30pm in Kenmore

  • Maple Valley LGBTQ+ Youth Group

    • Meets on the 3rd Friday of each month in Maple Valley

  • Federal Way LGBTQ+ Youth Group

    • Meets on the 4th Monday of each month in Federal Way

  • Monthly *IN PERSON* outdoor activities - see our calendar linked above for details.

  • Saturdays: 10-14 Year Old Group on Saturdays from 4-5:30pm

  • Saturdays: Night Lambert Live!, 7-8:30pm

    • For all LGBTQ+ youth, activities vary. Uses Zoom for a video group.

  • Sundays: BIPOC Only Space Youth Group, every other Sunday 5-6pm

    • Meets on Zoom

  • Mondays: Tranz Youth Group, 7-8:30pm

    • For transgender, non-binary, gender-queer, agender, gender questioning, etc. youth. Uses Zoom for a video group every other week, and Rocket Chat for a text-chat group on alternate weeks.

  • Tuesdays: Non-Binary Youth Group, 6-7pm

    • Meets on Zoom

  • Tuesdays: Ultra Violet Group, 7-8:30pm

    • For women-identified and women-aligned youth, including trans, non-binary, asexual, etc. youth. Uses Zoom for a video group every week.

  • Wednesdays: Art Group meets every Wednesday either online, or in-person, 5-6pm

    • 2nd & 4th Wednesdays each month on Zoom

    • 1st, 3rd, 5th (when there is one) Wednesdays each month in-person at our drop-in center

    • Come express yourself through art. There is not a curriculum or expectation that youth create specific kinds of art. The group is about being together, doing & talking about art, and expressing ourselves.

  • Wednesdays: 18-22 Year Old LGBTQ+ Young Adults Group 2nd & 4th, 7-8:30pm

    • Meets on Zoom

  • Thursdays: Boys Who Like Boys Group, 7-8:30pm

    • For all youth who identify with the group title. Uses Zoom for a video group every time it meets.

  • Weekdays: Discord Server for LGBTQ+ youth, 4-7pm

    • For youth 13-22 years old

    • Sexual Health Questions Channel available Tuesdays from 4-5:30pm for LGBTQ+ youth to seek important health information related to sex and sexuality.
